Our Story

Primitive Element was founded in 2024 in Garland, Texas by two lifelong outdoorsman friends — who grew tired of paying premium prices for outdoor gear that looked like everyone else's. We launched as a small independent operation with one rule: only sell things we'd actually use ourselves on the lake, in the woods, or out at camp.

What started as a curated catalog of camping, fishing, and hunting gear has grown into a small brand of our own: vintage-inspired apparel, dependable accessories, and a sub-line called Prime Catches dedicated to fly fishing, surf casting, and everything in between and Stealth Night Ops dedicated to everything hunting related.

• Heritage aesthetic. Earth tones, broken-in textures, vintage badge designs — outdoor stuff that looks as good back in town as it does at camp.
• Honest pricing. No fake discounts, no inflated MSRPs. The price you see is the price.
• Real people behind the brand. Every order is fulfilled, packed, or supervised by a small Texas team. If something goes wrong, a real person picks up the phone.

Where We Are

We operate out of Garland, Texas. Most apparel ships from our print partners in the United States; gear and accessories ship from our supplier network with delivery windows clearly listed on every product page.
