Wore this during late October and early November hunts and it blended in better than I expected. The material is durable and doesn't tear easily on branches. Good value for a quality ghillie suit that actually works in the field.
The ghillie suit itself is well-made with good stitching and the maple leaf pattern works in deciduous areas. Took about three weeks to arrive which was longer than I hoped, but no issues with the product itself. Used it successfully on my last hunting trip.
I don't usually write reviews, but this suit helped me close the deal on a nice buck last fall. The color blending is realistic and the fabric doesn't make noise when you're drawing or shifting position. Worth the investment for serious hunters.
The camo pattern definitely works in hardwood and mixed forest settings. It's thicker than lightweight suits I've used, which gives better durability but means you're carrying more weight on long treks. Still a solid choice if you prioritize concealment over pack-light hiking.
Tested this on a weekend hunting trip and the noise level is minimal when moving through thick cover. The weight is reasonable—not so heavy that you're exhausted before you even reach your stand. Ghillie suits can be finicky, but this one is practical.
The maple leaf pattern is genuinely effective in mixed terrain—blends way better than solid color suits I've owned. Sizing runs small though, so order up if you're between sizes. Still works great for my mid-November turkey hunting.
Used this ghillie suit for three months of hunting and the stitching never came loose. The material is thick enough to resist tearing on brush, and it actually kept me warmer than I expected during late October hunts. Would recommend to anyone serious about concealment.
Wore this during early season deer hunting in the woods behind my property and the camo pattern actually works. I've tried cheaper suits that just look like green rags, but the maple leaf pattern breaks up your outline convincingly. Deer didn't spook when I was positioned downwind, which is what matters.
The camouflage pattern is genuinely good and blends well in oak and maple forests. However, wearing this thing in warm weather is tough—it traps heat and gets pretty sweaty. I'd recommend it more for early season or late fall hunting. Still works and the price is fair, just be prepared for limited breathability.
Used this from a ground blind during archery season and it worked better than I expected. The coverage is thorough and the material doesn't make noise when you move slowly. If you're doing spot-and-stalk hunting in open country, this might be overkill, but for tree stand or blind hunting in woods, it's the real deal.
I've been hunting the same property for eight years and this ghillie suit changed everything. Bucks that normally winded me from 100 yards out never even knew I was there. The three-dimensional leaf design catches light naturally instead of looking flat and fake. Already ordered a second one for my son.
The suit itself is excellent—really breaks up your silhouette in hardwood areas. Took it out for a weekend hunt and felt confident the whole time. Shipping took about two weeks though, which was longer than I needed for my October hunt. Still a solid purchase, just order earlier than you think you need it.
Used this for turkey season in April and the maple leaf pattern actually matched the new growth and leaf-out perfectly. Stayed completely still for three hours in one spot and a tom walked within 30 yards without spooking. Lightweight enough that I didn't overheat, which was a concern since I run warm.
Good quality ghillie that held up well through a full season of brush and briars. The material is durable and the coverage is excellent for ground hunting. Only knocked it down a star because I had to size up—the XL fit more like a large on me. Otherwise, this thing does what it's supposed to do without breaking the bank.
Wore this ghillie suit on a whitetail hunt last November and the difference was night and day. I was able to close the distance to about 40 yards before the buck even caught wind of me. The leaf coverage is realistic and breaks up your outline perfectly in mixed timber. Definitely worth the investment if you're serious about getting within bow range.
