Tested this on a hunting trip stripping branches and preparing camp. The blade geometry is good—cuts through bark without getting stuck. The wooden handle has a nice grip even when wet. Only minor note: wish the sheath had a belt loop option, but the carry method works fine otherwise.

The craftsmanship is solid and the leather sheath is quality, but mine showed up pretty dull. Took 20 minutes with a whetstone to get it field-ready. After that, it performs great for splitting kindling and small branches around the hunting cabin. Worth the price once you sharpen it up.
