COLEMAN SKYDOME 12-PERSON CAMPING TENT XL
When the whole crew comes along, space is not optional - it is everything. The Coleman Skydome 12-Person Camping Tent XL is built for large groups and family expeditions that need a real shelter. Four queen airbeds fit inside comfortably, and the nearly vertical walls mean everyone can actually stand up and move around without hunching over.
So, what's so great about it?
Pre-attached poles get the whole structure up in under 5 minutes with two people - a remarkable feat for a tent this size. The WeatherTec system with tub-like floor, patented welded corners, and taped seams on both the rainfly and tent body forms a complete waterproof barrier from ground to ceiling. The frame is tested to hold in 35 mph winds, so you are not worrying about the tent when the storm rolls in.
Two doors (front and back) make it easy for a large group to come and go without crawling over each other, and the included room divider creates two separate sleeping zones. Large door awnings keep gear dry at the entrance and help with airflow. An E-Port brings power inside, and ground vents add extra ventilation on warm nights. This is the tent for base camp, group camping, and multi-family trips where you cannot afford to compromise.

Used this on three camping trips now and it keeps impressing me. The interior headroom is legit—you can actually stand up and move around without ducking. Zippers are smooth, stakes are sturdy, and the floor material feels durable. My only minor note is the carrying bag could be bigger, but that's nitpicking. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable 12-person setup.
Brought this out for a hunting camp with four guys and we had plenty of room for gear and sleeping bags without feeling cramped. Setup took longer than I expected—maybe 30-40 minutes with two people—and the instructions could've been clearer. Once it was up though, the quality was obvious. Decent tent for the price.
This thing is a tank. Weathered a surprise rainstorm last weekend and stayed completely dry inside. The fabric feels premium and the stitching looks solid everywhere I checked. It's definitely not a backpacking tent—weight and packed size are real—but for car camping or base camps, you can't beat it. Very happy with this purchase.
Used this for a week-long fishing trip with my buddies and the space is incredible. You won't feel cramped even with a full crew. My only gripe is that condensation built up on the interior walls during cooler nights, though cracking the vents helped. Overall it's a workhorse tent that'll last years if you take care of it.
Set this up at our family reunion campsite and it handled 10 people comfortably with room to spare. The light panels are a game-changer—waking up to natural light instead of darkness made mornings so much better. Took about 20 minutes to get it fully erected, but the poles are color-coded so setup was straightforward. Definitely worth the investment for bigger group camping.
