Brought this to our family camping trip and it was perfect for the picnic table area after dark. Solar charging is convenient, no batteries to replace, and the warm glow actually attracted less insects than our old LED setup. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants form and function.
Been using this alongside our main lantern setup for about two months now. It holds a charge reasonably well and the design is durable—survived a few bumps in the truck bed without issue. Wish the battery indicator was clearer, but otherwise it does the job.
Took this on a three-day camping trip instead of dealing with fire regulations in the area. Charged it fully before we left and it stayed bright enough all three nights to light up our tent area. The flame illusion actually fooled my fishing buddy from across the camp.
Used it on a few weekend backpacking trips to mark our camp perimeter. The solar charge works fine, but on nights after heavy cloud cover it dims noticeably. Still functional and the flame effect is cool, just don't expect maximum brightness if you're relying on limited sunlight.
Placed this outside our cabin during rifle season and it's become one of my favorite pieces of gear. The flickering effect is realistic enough to add warmth without being a gimmick, and the battery lasts longer than I expected. No cords to deal with, just place it and forget it.
This lantern works well for marking your campsite at night, and the solar cell keeps it going all evening. Only minor complaint is it needs a full day of direct sun to charge completely—took about 6 hours to get a strong charge on an overcast afternoon. Still worth having, just plan ahead.
Grabbed one for our backyard fishing setup and I'm impressed. Charges during the day and runs strong through the evening. The flame flicker is surprisingly realistic, and it's bright enough to see your tackle but dim enough to not spook fish in the shallows. Solid purchase.
Set this up at our base camp last month and it's been a game-changer. The solar charging is reliable even on cloudy days, and the flame effect actually looks like a real fire from a distance. My kids loved it, and it gave us enough light to move around safely without killing the vibe of being outdoors.
