Works great for backcountry hiking at dusk and into the night. The image quality is impressive, but I wish the batteries lasted a full 8-hour hunt without swapping them out. Still a solid piece of gear for the price.
Spotted a massive catfish under the dock last weekend that I would've completely missed. The thermal imaging makes it easy to see fish movement in the dark, and the ergonomic grip doesn't tire your hand out on long nights by the water.
The monocular itself is fantastic—great build quality and the IR range is legit. Only downside was the shipping took longer than expected, but customer service got back to me quickly. Definitely recommend if you can wait a few extra days.
My family loves spotting nocturnal animals around our campsite now. The image is crisp even in pitch black, and it's lightweight enough that my 10-year-old can handle it. Been taking it on every camping trip since I got it.
Brought this along expecting decent performance and was blown away by how well it spots movement in pitch-black conditions. Used it to identify a raccoon raiding our campsite one night—couldn't have done it with a flashlight. The camo pattern looks professional too.
Used this on my last deer hunt and couldn't believe the clarity. The infrared detection picks up heat signature from 200+ yards out, and the camo finish blends perfectly in the tree stand. Worth every penny for serious hunters.
I've been using this for evening wildlife observation around my property and it's delivered solid results in low-light conditions. The weight took some getting used to during extended handheld sessions, but the image quality makes up for it. Decent option if you're serious about night work.
Took this on a week-long backcountry hunt and it performed flawlessly. The infrared technology picks up heat signatures I couldn't see with regular optics, and the rugged camo housing survived some rough terrain without a scratch. Definitely recommending to my hunting buddies.
Great thermal imaging for spotting deer movement after dark, though the learning curve on the focus adjustment was steeper than expected. Once I figured out the settings, this thing performs at night like nothing I've used before. Solid investment for weekend hunting trips.
Used this on my last predator hunt and the clarity at 300+ yards in complete darkness was incredible. The camo finish blends perfectly with my rifle setup, and the battery life easily gets me through an entire night session. Worth every penny for serious hunters.
