Great concept, shipping took forever

The umbrella hat itself is excellent for camp tasks and light weather—I use it while setting up tents and breaking down. Only gripe is it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Once I had it though, no complaints about the quality or function.

Solid hunting gear investment

Been wearing this during early morning stands in the blind. Keeps rain and morning mist off my face so I can stay focused on the field. The dark color doesn't spook game, and it's way better than a rain jacket hood for visibility and hearing.

Decent for light rain, brim flaps in wind

Works great for a drizzle around camp, but when we hit some real weather on our weekend trip, the brim would catch the gusts and tug at the head strap. Still kept most of the rain off and I'd take it again—just wish it was more wind-resistant.

Good but took time to adjust

The concept is solid and it works well once you get the fit right. First time out, the strap felt a little loose and it shifted around, but I tightened it properly and no issues since. Definitely beats holding an umbrella while hunting.

Perfect for campfire cooking

Used this while standing over the fire pit making breakfast for the crew. Kept the drizzle off without getting in the way of flipping eggs or pouring coffee. The strap is comfortable even after wearing it for hours, and it packs down small in my pack.

Game changer for all-day hikes

Took it on a 3-day backpacking trip in the Cascades. The adjustable fit kept it secure even on technical sections, and I could actually see the trail without holding an umbrella. Lightweight enough that I forgot I was wearing it half the time.

Finally keeps rain off while fishing

Wore this on the lake last weekend and it actually works. Hands stay free to cast and reel, rain doesn't drip on my face. The brim is wide enough to matter but doesn't catch wind like I worried it would. Best $30 I spent on gear this year.

Solid for backyard use, decent on trails

Got this for yard work and light hiking. It works fine for both, though the brim can feel a little forward-heavy if you're not used to it. Material feels durable enough for regular use, and the price is right for what you get.

Kept me dry at base camp all weekend

Used this while cooking and sitting around the campfire during a rainy weekend trip. Stays put, doesn't slip when you bend over to tend the fire, and gives you full arm mobility. Would definitely bring it again.

Good idea, a little awkward at first

The concept is solid and it works well for camping and outdoor activities, but the brim took some getting used to. Once I adjusted the fit properly, it stayed put. Wish the coverage extended a bit further down the back, but still beats holding an umbrella on the trail.

Perfect for hunting season downpours

Got caught in unexpected rain during an early morning hunt. This hat kept me dry while I had my rifle ready and binoculars accessible. Lightweight enough that it doesn't interfere with gear, and the coverage is legit.

Finally, hands free during fishing trips

Wore this on a 6-hour float trip last weekend and it was a game changer. Rain came in hard midstream and I could still cast and net fish without fumbling with a regular umbrella. The strap keeps it secure even in wind, though I'd recommend tightening it well.
