Used this on a cold-weather camping trip in the Cascades and it absolutely transformed the experience. My buddies were jealous—their tents were freezing while ours was actually cozy. The whole setup breaks down reasonably compact, and the included pipes are the right length for most wall tents. Would definitely buy again.
Great little stove for our basecamp during hunting season. Heats the tent evenly and the pipes connect well. I had to adjust one joint slightly to get a perfect seal, but nothing major. The spark arrestor definitely gives you confidence around flammable materials. Solid product overall.
We use this in our hunting cabin and it's been running strong for two seasons now. The spark arrestor is a nice safety feature, especially with the surrounding timber. Heat output is impressive for the size, and cleanup is manageable. Great investment for anyone spending serious time in the field.
Been using this for spring turkey hunts and it makes all the difference when you're camped out in chilly mornings. Assembly is intuitive, and the chimney extension lets you adjust the height to fit different tent setups. Burns clean and hot. Only minor note: the pipes are a bit heavy to pack, but that's expected with quality.
The stove itself is quality—heats fast and the build feels durable. Used it on a three-day fishing trip in the mountains and it performed great. My only complaint is it took almost three weeks to arrive, which was longer than expected. Still happy with the purchase though.
Took this on a week-long elk hunt in November and it kept our 12x14 tent toasty the whole time. Setup was straightforward, and the portable design meant I could break it down and move camps without hassle. Burns wood efficiently too, so we weren't constantly gathering fuel. Highly recommend for serious hunters.
Finally upgraded from shivering in a regular tent to actually being warm during deer season. Set this up in my canvas wall tent and the heat distribution is incredible—no more cold spots. The chimney pipes fit together smoothly and the spark arrestor gives me peace of mind around dry brush. This thing has become essential gear.
