Outstanding infrared tech, minor learning curve

This thing absolutely crushes in low-light situations—saw a coyote at 200 yards in complete darkness last week. The digital recording is a nice bonus for keeping records. Takes a few minutes to dial in the settings if you're new to night vision, but once you get it figured out it's intuitive enough.

Great tool but heavier than expected

The night vision is top-notch for backcountry trips and spotting nocturnal critters. Image stabilization works well even when I'm tired at 2 AM. My only gripe is it's a bit bulkier and heavier than I thought it'd be for backpacking, but still worth the weight if you're serious about night observation.

Solid optics but took a week to arrive

Works great for scanning the campsite at night and checking for wildlife. The image quality is sharp and the infrared function is legitimately useful. Only knocked it down one star because shipping took longer than expected, but the product itself is solid.
