Used it on a fishing trip last month. It's bright, the magnet works well, and it's simple to use. No bells and whistles, but that's fine—sometimes you just need reliable light on the water without overthinking it.
I was skeptical about the size, but it's surprisingly bright for setting up in the dark or prepping meals by the fire. The magnet grips tight to anything metal. Compact enough to throw in my pack without adding weight.
Used this on my last three camping trips. The magnetic attachment is convenient, and it puts out solid light for cooking and general campsite work. Wish the battery indicator was clearer, but overall does exactly what you need.
