The design is beautiful and it works well once you understand the pouring angle. Spent a weekend testing it at the cabin and the ceramic quality is legit. Wish the instructions were clearer about the first-use cleaning, but overall solid investment for tea lovers who camp.
Found this to be lighter than expected, which matters when you're hiking all day. Set it up at camp over a portable burner and made some solid tea. The lid fits snug, no leaks. Small aesthetic detail but the gourd shape actually makes it easier to grip with cold hands.
This thing has been to at least a dozen camping trips now. I've accidentally dropped it twice and it's still going strong. The gourd shape gives it a nice grip, and the storage bag is actually durable too. Worth every penny.
